November 12, 2021, the SAMR issued an announcement on the further standardization of infant formula milk powder product labeling (Hereinafter referred to as Announcement). Since the date of the announcement, the application for registration of infant formula milk powder products by this implementation. From February 22, 2023, the labeling and identification of products produced shall meet the requirements of this announcement. Products produced before can be sold until the end of the shelf life. ★FDA Takes Steps to Facilitate the Export of Food under China’s New Facility Registration Requirements – Decree 248★

The FDA is asking establishments currently exporting certain food products to China to voluntarily submit information. We are making this request in response to new facility registration requirements from China. While China has not confirmed that collecting this information is a prerequisite for U.S. establishments to export to China, the FDA is making this request as a precaution against potential trade disruption. In April 2021, China’s General Administration of Customs (GACC) announced new registration requirements that affect all overseas food manufacturers, processors, and storage facilities of food products exported to China. These requirements are described in China’s Decree 248 and will be in effect on January 1, 2022......

★Webinar | Interpretation on the system of China import Food Enterprise Registration★

As we all known, the Decree 248 and 249 will be implemented on January 1, 2022, according to the Regulations on the Registration and Administration of Overseas Manufactures of imported Food (Decree No. 248 of GACC), it requires that all overseas manufacturers of production, processing, and storage (hereinafter referred to as “overseas manufacturers of imported foods”) that export foods to China should register to GACC.

Since the system of China import Food Enterprise Registration was launched on November 1, Foodmate has been paying attention to the use of the system and has successfully helped many overseas enterprises complete the registration. At present, the system has been gradually improved. ★7 Chinese enterprises were allowed to export grapefruit to Russia★

According to Russian Federation Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), 7 Chinese enterprises have been approved to export grapefruit to Russia.
