On April 8, 2022, the General Administration of Customs took emergency preventive measures against 3 Brazilian companies, due to the positive nucleic acid test of SARS-Cov-2 in 3 samples of 3 batches of frozen meat from Brazil. The national customs suspended the acceptance of Brazilian meat product company JBS S/A (Registered number: 4507) and MARFRIG GLOBAL FOODS S.A. (Registered number: 1751) and ZANCHETTA ALIMENTOS LTDA (Registered number: 2758) import declaration for 1 week. Product declaration will resume automatically after expiration.
