On April 28, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of South Korea issued a partial amendment to the Implementation Rules of the Food Hygiene Law. The main contents are as follows:
The government will no longer require applicants to submit proof of kinship when reporting the succession of business owners due to inheritance, and will improve the system for public officials to check through the joint use of administrative information. Storerooms are allowed to be shared with those equipped with refrigeration facilities. Group catering operators under the form of entrusted contracts shall, like group catering service places and operators, record and keep the inspection results of hygiene management items.

因继承而申报企业主身份继承时,不再要求申报人提交亲属关系证明,今后将改进公职人员通过行政信息联合使用的方式进行核实。库房,允许配备冷藏或冷藏设施的库房合用。以委托合同方式经营团体餐饮场所的委托餐饮经营者,应当与团体餐饮服务场所和经营者一样,记录、保存卫生管理项目的检查结果。
