Prime Minister Ismail Sabri has announced that the cabinet has agreed to abolish import licences for wheat and broiler chicken, including whole chickens and chicken nuggets, following the earlier announcement of the abolition of four food import Licences (Approved Permit), Sinchew reported.  At the same time, he demanded all government departments to list other items for which import permits could be abolished in the interest of Malaysian consumers.  He stressed that the government would not compromise with any parties seeking to affect people's livelihood.
