South Korea releases 2021 Global Food Safety Trends report

On June 20, 2022, the Korea Food Safety Information Collection Center released the Global Food Safety Trends Report 2021.  The South Korean Food Safety Information Collection Center collected information on 40 Korean foods and 14 sanitary products from 200 websites in 29 countries including China from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021 in nine languages including Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese, etc.  A total of 27,313 pieces of food safety information have been collected.  The information collected by the analysis department is divided into four categories, including dangerous food information, legal and institutional information, research evaluation information and global trends information.  The report analyzed and stated from aspects including the overview, the overall trend of food safety information, overseas dangerous food information trend, analysis of overseas dangerous food status according to the main pathogenic factors.
