On July 15, 2022, The Eurasian Economic Union issued the draft revision of the Technical Regulation on The Safety of Milk and Dairy Products (TRCU033/2013). The main contents are as follows:

(1) 29 dairy products and code lists are provided, including infant formula, pasteurized and UHT milk and cream, etc.;

(2) imports of dairy products on this list must comply with both the product name and TNVED code. Products in the list are required to provide conformity assessment documents and declare that they meet the mandatory requirements of the Technical regulations on Milk and Dairy Product Safety (TRTS033/2013);

(3) The technical regulation does not apply to: specialized nutritional products based on milk and dairy products; Lactose containing fruit products, milk containing additives, medicines, non-food products, etc. Non-circulating milk and dairy products for personal use. The period for feedback on the draft revision ends September 16, 2022.
