Since last year, Chinese Mainland Customs has repeatedly detected a quarantine pest, planococcus minor, and excessive residues of fethion and dimethoatefrom citrus fruits imported from Taiwan to the mainland. Due to the positive nucleic acid test of SARS-Cov-2 in samples of packages of chilled white hairtail and frozen horse mackerel imported from Taiwan in June this year. In order to prevent risks and in accordance with the relevant laws, regulations and standards of the mainland, it is hereby decided to suspend the importation of citrus fruits, chilled white hairtail fish and frozen horse mackerel from Taiwan to the mainland from August 3, 2022.
Since August 3, 2022, all customs shall suspend the processing of customs declarations for citrus fruits, chilled white hairtail fish and frozen horse mackerel from Taiwan, and shall inform timely relevant enterprises in their jurisdictions of the above situation.
