On August 17, 2022, the website of the Ministry of Commerce of China reported on the same day that Czech President Milos Zeman signed an amendment to the Law on organic farming, extending the validity period of certificates of organic food and products from the current maximum of 15 months to a maximum of 26 months, in accordance with relevant EU laws. The bill will take effect on the first day of the month following the date of promulgation of the law.
