The purpose of the revision is to encourage the production and sale of safe and nutritious children's favorite foods, and to reasonably improve the existing quality certification standards for children's favorite foods. The main amendments are to relax the saturated fat standard for processed dairy products containing more than 95% raw milk, and for processed dairy products using more than 95% raw milk, the saturated fat standard is relaxed to 5 grams or less per serving.

The revised comment period ends on September 27, 2024.
