CFSA seeks public opinions on two new food ingredients including Sakura Polyphenols

On October 24, 2024, the China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment (CFSA), entrusted by the National Health Commission, opened a public consultation on two new food ingredients, including sakura polyphenols and Rooster comb sodium hyaluronate, in accordance with the Food Safety Law and the Measures for the Administration of Safety Assessment of New Food Ingredients. The original text is as follows:

Two new food ingredients, including sakura polyphenols and Rooster comb sodium hyaluronate, have passed the technical review of the Expert Review Committee. Now, public consultation is being conducted. Please provide your feedback to our center by November 23, 2024. Any feedback received after this date will not be processed.

The attachments include the content of the public consultation on the two new food ingredients, sakura polyphenols and others, as well as related interpretation materials. Please download and read them at your convenience. If you have any opinions or suggestions, please send them to xspyl@cfsa.net.cn, and indicate "Feedback on New Food Ingredients" in the subject of your email.
