Brazil established MRLs for potassium phosphonates in some food products

On 19 November 2024, the Brazilian National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) issued IN No 335, which includes potassium phosphonates in the list of permitted agro-active substances and establishes maximum residue limits (MRLs) for potassium phosphonates in certain food products, some of which are shown in the table below. These limits are effective as of the date of publication.
