According to the Official Journal of the European Union, on December 19, 2024, the European Commission issued Regulation (EU) No 2024/3168 approving, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council, a preparation of zinc-L-selenomethionine as a feed additive for all animals.

Under the conditions set out in the Annex, this additive is authorized as an animal additive in the category "Nutritional additives" and in the functional group "Trace element compounds". The authorization expires on January 8, 2035. This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day after the date of its publication.
