In November this year, China's imports of Russian beer increased by 46% from a year earlier to $2 million, the Russian Agriculture Ministry's Agroexport Center told the SPUTNIK.
The total volume of imports grew by 30% to 3,000 tons, the message showed.
During the first 11 months of 2024, China imported 23,800 tons of beer from Russia, with the value of imports reaching $15.5 million, the announcement noted.
On June 24, the Agroexport Center told the SPUTNIK that the volume of bilateral trade in agricultural products, raw materials and foodstuffs between Russia and China in 2023 increased by 33.9% to $11.1 billion (9.4 million tons). Chinese exports of agricultural products, raw materials and foodstuffs to Russia grew by 5.8% to $2.3 billion (1.2 million tons). Russian exports of agricultural products to China grew 1.7 times in six years.
