The European Union has reduced quotas for Brazilian agricultural products because of Brexit, local media reported. Brazil has reached a bilateral agreement with the European Union under which Brazilian agricultural products will enter the EU market at lower tariffs within the agreed quota. Under the new agreement, Brazil's quotas for sugar, chicken, beef, turkey, corn, juice and other agricultural products are reduced. At present, Brazil is negotiating with the United Kingdom access quota for agricultural products.
