On 30 November 2022, the General Directorate Of Food and Control of Turkey issued Notice No. 495 on the preparation of Codex Alimentarius - Health Standards for Contaminants in Food. The main contents include applicable product scope, terms and definitions, sampling requirements for different foods, various contaminant detection methods, and contaminant limit requirements in food, etc.
The announcement is open for comment until Dec. 31, 2022.
