According to the U.S. Federal Register, on January 6, 2023, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued Regulation No. 2023-00017, exempting the residue limit of Extract of Caesalpinia Spinosa.
According to the regulations, when tara extract is used in accordance with good agricultural practices, it is exempted from the residue limit in or on all foods.
This provision will come into effect on January 6, 2023, and applications for objections or hearing requests must be submitted before March 7, 2023.
