Mongolia announced adoption of WHO Guidelines for the Application of General Principles of Food Hygiene in the Prevention and Reduction of Food Virus Contamination

On December 27, 2022, the Mongolian National Bureau of Standards announced that the country has not issued standards to control and reduce virus contamination in food. It has cooperated with the Department of Nutrition of the National Public Health Center and the School of Public Health of the National Medical University to translate World Health Organization (WHO) "Guidelines for the Application of General Principles of Food Hygiene in the Prevention and Reduction of Food Virus Contamination", and approved for use in Mongolia as a national standard.
