According to Food Standards Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ) news, on August 11, 2023, Food Standards Australia and New Zealand issued Notice 255-23, of which A1280 application, application for approval of genetically modified maize line DAS1131 for food.

It is understood that the application was submitted by Corteva Agriscience Australia Pty Ltd, and the genetically modified maize line DAS1131 has herbicide tolerance and insect protection properties.
