Argentina announced the cancellation of the restriction on the export of beef parts

On 2 January, the website of the newspaper La Nación reported that the National Service for Agri-Food Hygiene and Quality (SENASA) released a notice on its official website, announcing that it would officially lift the export ban No. 911/2021, which was adopted on 3 January 2022, and that it would open up the export of beef fully from 1 January 2024 onwards.


The announcement shows that from 1 January, whole beef, half-beef, bone-in front quarter parts, bone-in back quarter parts and bone-in incomplete half-beef parts can be exported to the international market; at the same time, seven types of roasts (fresh, chilled or frozen products) that are in high demand in the domestic market in Arakan, including bone-in steak, double-decker meat of the abdomen, brisket, tenderloin, cartilage, bone-in steak meat and boneless meat of the front shoulder, and other parts of beef that have restrictions on export can also be exported abroad. Beef parts that are restricted from export and can also be exported abroad.
