On February 23, 2024, the Brazilian National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA), through the official Gazette, issued Directive No. 275 amending the regulation on food supplements, specifically to include D-ribose in the list of food supplements permitted for use (but not for infants and children aged 0-3 years).
