On May 8, 2024, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) issued document No. 2024.8773, proposing to amend the provisions for the use of the food enzyme glucan 1, 4-alpha-glucosidase of the non-genetically modified Rhizopus strain AE-G. The document will enter into force on the date of its official publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
