EU proposed to amend the regulations on the use of the food enzyme β-amylase

On May 8, 2024, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) issued document No. 2024.8772, proposing to amend the provisions for the use of the food enzyme β-amylase of the non-transgenic Bacillus Campylobacter strain AE-BAF. The document will enter into force on the date of its official publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
