In an effort to appeal to the diet-conscious community, Coca-Cola Brazil has launched a new healthy drink. Coca-Cola is hoping to change the negative perception consumers have of its products as being rich in sugar and additives, as drinking large amounts of sugary drinks can be harmful to health.

The head of Coca-Cola Brazil said that drinking something tasteless (such as pure water) seems boring. The Brazilian population is accustomed to stimulating the tastebuds with sweet, richly flavored beverages. For those who can't give up soda but are concerned about their health, drinking Coca-Cola's healthy flavored waters is a good alternative. These drinks retain the sensation of gas and a light flavor, but unlike soft drinks, they contain no sugar, sweeteners, or unnecessary additives. These drinks are taking up more and more space on supermarket shelves, and even the giant Coca-Cola has launched its own brand of flavored water: crystal flavors.

Natural flavors are substances used to give food flavor and aroma. They are obtained from fruits, herbs, spices and other ingredients of plant or animal origin. These additives are regulated and approved for safe use in food and are not harmful to health.
