On 30 July 2024, the European Commission published Regulation (EU) 2024/2090 which, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 2015/2283 of the European Parliament and of the Council, authorises the placing on the market as a novel food of lactoyl-N-fucose-pentose I and 2' -Fucosyl lactose (‘the LNFP-I /2'-FL mixture’) produced by strains derived from E. coli W (ATCC 9637) and amending the annex to the Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/2470.

These Regulations shall take effect on the 20th day as of the date of promulgation.
