Draft Commission Delegated Regulation amending the Annex to Regulation (EU) No 609/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the list of substances that may be added to infant and follow-on formula, baby food and processed cereal-based food
On August 31st, the European Commission revised the list of substances that can be added to infant and follow-up formula milk powder, infant food and processed cereal food. The draft involves authorizing the addition of L- methyl calcium folate as the source of folic acid in infant and follow-up formula food, processed cereal food and infant food, which co
nforms to the relevant scientific opinions of the European Food Safety Administration (EFSA).
