On December 24, the General Administration of Customs issued the Announcement on Implementing the Mutual Recognition of "Authorized Economic Operator" (AEO) in China-Brazil Customs. The main contents include that according to the provisions of the Mutual Recognition Arrangement, China and Brazil mutually recognize the AEO enterprises, providing customs clearance convenience for the import and export goods of AEO enterprises of both sides. Among them, Brazil Customs recognized China Customs' senior certified enterprises as mutually recognized AEO enterprises, and China Customs recognized Brazil Customs' "Authorized Economic Operator" as mutually recognized AEO enterprises. This announcement has been officially implemented since January 1, 2022.
