US exempts the residue limits of Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain LAS02
According to the US Federal Register, on February 2, 2022, the US Environmental Protection Agency issued Regulation 2022-02099, exempting the residue limit of Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain LAS02.
It is understood that the application was submitted by Lesaffre Yeast Corporation. The residue limits of Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain LAS02 is exempted in food when it is used in accordance with label instructions and good agricultural practice.
This provision is effective from February 2, 2021, and requests for objections or hearings must be filed by April 4, 2022.
