转基因
Thailand's Food and Drug Authority has proposed strict regulation of genetically modified (GM) plants such as pink pineapple and is preparing to publish two notices from the Ministry of Public Health on GM food and the labeling of GM food in the Government Gazette, Thai Headline News reported on June 4, 2022.  Thai law prohibits importing GM plants or using them for commercial purposes without an import license.  Thailand's Food and Drug Authority has banned genetically modified fruits and vegetables, especially pink pineapples, according to its deputy secretary general.  If such food need to be imported or sold, it should pass food safety assessment standards and call on the government to tackle smuggling.
