On 28 June 2022, the Central Scientific and Methodological Veterinary Laboratory (FSBICNMVL) of the Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision Service of the Russian Federation formulated and published guidelines on sampling methods and procedures for pesticide and veterinary drug residues to improve the quality of the detection of active substances. This guideline establishes general procedures for sampling agricultural and veterinary drugs and identifies equipment, materials and auxiliaries to be used. At the same time, it also points out the quantity of samples collected for various products, and specifies the conditions of transportation, storage and delivery of laboratory test samples.
