European Union revises maximum residue limits of 6 pesticides in some products

According to the Official Journal of the European Union, on 25 July 2022, the European Commission issued Regulation (EU) 2022/1290, revisions were made to Ametoctradin, Chlormequat, Dodine, Nicotine, Profenofos, and Spodoptera exigua multicapsid Nucleopolyhedrovirus (SeMNPV) Isolate BV-0004 MRLs in some products.

Annexes II, III and IV of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 are amended as follows:

(1) In Annex II, the columns for Ametoctradin and Dodine are replaced by the following:
 

Pesticide residues and maximum residue levels (mg/kg) (some products)

(2) Annex III is amended as follows:
 
(a) In Part A, the columns for Chlormequat and Nicotine are replaced with the following:
 

Pesticide residues and maximum residue levels (mg/kg) (some products)

 

 

(b) In part B, the column for profenofos has been replaced with the following:
 

Pesticide residues and maximum residue levels (mg/kg) (some products)

 

(3) In Annex IV, added the following item: Spodoptera exigua multicapsid nucleopolyhedrovirus (SeMNPV) isolate BV-0004.
 
This Regulation enters into force on the 20th day of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
