On 4 July 2022, Nepal's National Consultation on Sanitary/Phytosanitary (SPS) issued a consultation document to develop standards for cereal supplements for infants and young children. The call for feedback date is September 17, 2022.

This standard applies to cereals for infants and young children aged 6-36 months and includes requirements for major physical and chemical indicators, sources of fortifier compounds, and food additives that can be used in cereals for infants and young children.
