According to the Federal Register, on July 29, 2022, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued Regulation 2022-16070 to amend the residue limits for Isofetamid in a variety of products.
 
The EPA conducted a risk assessment of toxicity, dietary exposure, and effects on infants and young children and concluded that the RLS below are safe. Part of the proposed amendments are as follows:
This provision took effect on July 29, 2022, objections or hearing requests need to be submitted by September 27, 2022.
