On 2 August 2022, the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) issued Notice No. 210-22, in which Application No. A1224 seeks comments on the use of a glucose oxidase as a processing aid.
 
According to the notice, the glucose oxidase is produced by Penicillium, intended for use in the production of various foods and beverages. The deadline for comments is 6pm (Canberra time) on 13 September 2022.
