The Russian Union of Plant-based Products is starting to translate the Chinese plant-based meat product standard (group standard formulated by the Chinese Society of Food Science and Technology), which may become a guide document for similar products in Russia.
The content of Chinese plant meat product standard includes product definition, labeling requirements, packaging requirements, transportation and storage conditions requirements, etc. The standard content explains how to correctly name products and label layout.
The Russian Union of Plant-based Products will propose that the Working Group on Standardization of Plant-based Products of the Russian Federal Bureau of Technical Regulations and Metros to consider the availability of Chinese standard documents at its meeting.
