According to the Official Journal of the European Union, on 23 August 2022, the European Commission issued Regulation (EU) 2022/1419, which, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council, Approved buchu Leaf essential oil as a feed additive for all animal species. Under the conditions specified in the Annex, this additive is authorized as an animal additive under the category "sensory additives" and the functional group "flavoring compounds". The license ends on September 12, 2032. These Regulations shall take effect 19 days after the date of promulgation.
