South Korea will restrict the use of disposable paper cups, disposable plastic straws and stirring sticks by catering companies and collective restaurants from November 24, according to South Korean media on August 22.
The Ministry of Environment (MOE) plans to publicize the issue of a manual on the scope of Application for Reducing the use of disposable products in order to facilitate the implementation of the expanded restrictions on the use of disposable products.
The manual will be made public on the Ministry's website, including the types and industries of disposable products that are restricted.
