On June 20, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of the Republic of Korea issued a news release stating that according to the "Labeling Standards for Food Products, etc." in Korea, alcoholic beverages other than liquor, medicinal liquor, and beer must be labeled with the date of production, product lot number, or date of bottling, and that starting from June 28, 2024, it will strengthen the examination standards for the declarations of imported alcoholic beverages mentioned above. When making import declarations, the date of production must be entered or please enter the lot number in the Lot Number field of the Input Korean Labeling Matters, and the system will automatically return the order if it is not filled in according to the above requirements.
