CFSA seeks public opinions on six new types of food-related products including Polyisobutylene

On September 2, 2024, the China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment (CFSA) announced a public consultation on six new types of food-related products, including polyisobutylene. The original announcement is as follows:

 

In accordance with the requirements of the "Administrative Provisions on Administrative Licensing for New Types of Food-related Products" and the "Regulations on the Declaration and Acceptance of New Types of Food-related Products," six new types of food-related products, including polyisobutylene, have successfully passed the technical evaluation conducted by the Expert Review Committee (see the attachment for details). We are now inviting public opinions on these new products. Please submit your written comments to our center by October 2, 2024. Failure to provide feedback by the deadline will be deemed as having no objections.
