Canada recalls chocolate suspected of salmonella contamination

On December 9, 2024, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) issued a recall notice that a chocolate is being recalled in Canada because the product may be contaminated with Salmonella. Information on the recalled product is below:

The name of the recalled product is Oasis Treasures brand Pistachio Dubai Chocolate, weight 340g, UPC code 8 02962 40190 7, and shelf life until July 25, 2025. These products have been distributed in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan and the Yukon.

  

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is advising consumers not to consume the recalled products, to check their homes for the presence of the recalled products, and if so, to discard or return them to the store of purchase.
