On August 16, 2024, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) issued a notice allowing the sale of restored fruit juice as 100% fruit juice. It is required to be manufactured using existing pre-printed packaging materials by December 31, 2024, and products manufactured before December 31, 2024 are allowed to be sold in all channels until the end of the shelf life.
