Foodmate reminds food exporters that the EU has not yet approved any legal cultivation of GM rice, so the presence of GM rice ingredients in food is an offence. In addition, according to EU regulations, if the permitted GM ingredients in the food exceeds 0.9%, the product labeling must indicate it.
