Russia Announces Detection of Quarantine Objects in Plums from Kyrgyzstan
On September 9, 2025, the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) announced that during government control in the Tyumen Region, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Yugra, a batch of fruits arriving from Kyrgyzstan to the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Yugra was inspected. The total weight of the shipment was 19 tons, of which 250 kg of plums were contaminated with quarantine objects.
